Badeschiff (floating swimming pool)

Here is where it’s at, where you disappear below deck to groove to music. The lower deck of the Badeschiff is quickly turned into a partying place. The Badeschiff Vienna puts on quite an act on the Danube Canal: on the upper deck of two permanently moored vessels, the roofed over swimming pool tempts revelers to dive into well-tempered water.

The real attraction, however, is hidden away below deck. The former cargo hold is now a dance floor for cool gyrating below the waterline. From Tuesday to Saturday DJs play music ranging from disco to minimal and for live acts there is a mini-stage. Should, occasionally, at a late hour, the floor start to sway suspiciously, it is most likely due to the exquisite cocktail creations of the cargo hold bar.
