Chancellor Klaus on the Naschmarktt

Chancellor Dr. Klaus visited the Viennese Naschmarkt (principal Viennese market) to inform himself about food prices. Market reports alone would not do. The Chancellor wanted to ascertain personally, what people had to pay for different foods. By intervening Dr. Klaus hoped to stabilize the prices of some vegetables and meats and if possible to lower them. The Chancellor talked to Viennese housewives and listened to their complaints.
